Serving 6 orphanages in the Vietnamese province of Kon Tum, CVSO supplies quarterly distributions of food, supplies, and health care to nearly 700 children in one of the countries most impoverished regions. Basic food necessities, milk, and hygienic supplies are funded through ongoing grants to ensure the health and stability of the children in the orphanages. In 2023, an additional portion of the grant was issued to replace an oven at one of the orphanages. The children are taught how to cook bread and can then sell their goods at the local market in town. Simple economics, entrepreneurship, and building social skills are just some of the benefits from this particular facet of the program in helping to educate the children.
